How a Loose Fridge flooded my house..

Enjoying my day, it was relaxing. im selling my home iin 3 weeks and everything is perfect.

I came by the house to stain and blast the stairs, contractors were undoing the kitchen floor.

When all of a sudden I noticed a stream running through my kitchen to the basement,

All my walls were ruined and had to be replaced.

Ceiling was trashed along with sub floor and most of the kitchen cabinets.

What could I of done differently? 

Not much, simple and silly things.

1. Hiring the correct contractor, that was my first mistake.

Contractors will always be a Yes man, make sure they do the correct job, have a knowledged devloper advise your job.

2. My Fridge Connection

One loose hose behind my fridge caused the flooding, along with a unoticed leak.
